SAN DIEGO DAYBOOK / INFORMATION

Accessibility

We aim to make these planning tools usable across devices and input methods.

Our approach

The site uses labelled controls, semantic headings, keyboard-operable buttons, visible focus outlines, responsive layouts and text-based results. Motion is not needed to use the tools. Print and text download actions can be reached without a mouse.

Using the site

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls and Enter or Space to activate buttons. The skip link at the start of each page leads to the main content. Browser zoom and text resizing are supported; narrow screens arrange the content in a single column.

Feedback and limits

Browser, assistive technology, theme and plugin combinations vary, and barriers may remain. Contact the operator with the page, device, browser, assistive technology and steps involved. We cannot promise an immediate fix but feedback helps identify problems.
